Introducing Matthew Hamilton….
Matt is the principal of Newington Village Real Estate (NVRE), which he purchased from Mirvac in 2003. However, there is more to this managing director than real estate. Away from NVRE, Matt is a father of three boys, enjoys swimming laps to keep fit, and is mindful of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
While Matt lives close to Newington, his history with the suburb dates to 1998, when he was the new suburb’s sales and marketing manager working for Mirvac, delivering some 1500 sales during the period. With an uncanny visual memory for every sale since 1998, Matt is convinced the convenience of Newington is its number one selling point.
Newington also represents a leafy oasis akin to a North Shore suburb in inner western Sydney, and according to Matt, this was always part of the design vision. In addition, the suburb’s housing stock is incredibly stylish and well-built. A suburb of many firsts, Newington pioneered the use of solar power and environmentally sustainable materials on an unprecedented scale, which continue to attract savvy buyers.
Newington is also an inclusive and supportive community where Matt says, “everybody knows your name”. And Matt does more than his bit for the local community by sponsoring Giant Steps School for autistic children and the Salvation Army.
How can Matt help you?
Matt is a licenced real estate agent, property valuer and land economist, who previously worked for Lend Lease and Jones Lang Wootton, now part of global real estate heavyweight JLL. While at Lend Lease, Matt was seconded to Mirvac Lend Lease Village Consortium in 1998. He quickly became an integral cog in the marketing and promotion of the Newington development managing a team of 25 sales and marketing specialists.
Matt has experience in residential project marketing, retail, commercial and industrial property, and general residential and property management. Matt has also built dwellings and sold his own properties at record prices.
A hands-on leader, Matt is actively involved in the NVRE business on a day-to-day basis and delights in working with the team at NVRE. A self-confessed straight shooter with vendors and buyers, Matt believes the secret to his real estate success and longevity is always carrying through on any promises he makes to his clients no matter what.
For this reason, Matt is known for his integrity, business ethics, negotiation skills and the ability to achieve high prices for his clients.
