Derick’s connection to property started early. Beginning his career in property management at just 19 years old, he quickly developed a strong understanding of the industry and built a reputation for being approachable, reliable and solutions-focused. Over the years, Derick has worked with some of the most recognised names in real estate, including LJ Hooker and Mirvac, gaining valuable experience across residential property management and customer service.

Now working as a Property Manager with NVRE, Derick brings a practical, hands-on approach to every property he manages. He understands that great property management is about more than just inspections and paperwork — it’s about building strong relationships, communicating clearly, and making sure both landlords and tenants feel supported throughout the process.

Derick is known for being proactive and easy to deal with. Whether it’s coordinating maintenance, handling challenging situations, or simply making sure things run smoothly day to day, he believes in getting things done efficiently and properly the first time. Calm under pressure and highly organised, Derick enjoys the fast-paced nature of property management and takes pride in delivering a high level of service to his clients.

Outside of work, Derick enjoys spending time bush walking, being with his family, and attending church. When he’s not out and about inspecting properties or meeting clients, you’ll usually find him enjoying the outdoors or making the most of quality time with the people closest to him.
